I'm just chilling

Emphasis on the "ing" in chilling. Usually I and pretty much everyone I know would say "chillin" but one of my friends is always saying it with an "ing" and it sounds strange, but cool. haha.

Anyways, i'm just hanging out, I havent posted in a while. I'm living in Boston now, I got an internship here at this awesome company called Alt Terrain, and a job as a cook at Bertuccis. No work at either today!

Its a Friday and I went for a run this morning and did some laundry. Not a whole lot. Later though, I'm going to see JET at the Paradise with some friends. Thats one of the things that is great about Boston compared to home; theres alwasy something going on. Monday I was at a Sox game etc... Its great.

Anyways, I have some coffee brewing...

Things I won't do today

People always talk about making a list of things that they want to get done, be it today, for the week, or the new year, but heres a concept; make a list of things you wont get done. Why try and make it seem like you will do things that never happen, cut right to the point. At first you might think that makes no sense at all, but it actually helps out. You don't worry about alot of minor things that could happen in your day and focus more on other things that you REALLY need to do. For example, you need to fill out your fafsa to get money so you can afford to pay a staggering tuition bill next year. on your list of things you won't get done put that you will not go on facebook or you will not try and apply to internships in parts of the country that you will never go. These are thing that will just take up time and make you less likely to fill out your fafsa. Now you don't have that in the back of your mind crowding your brain and you can focus on what you Need to do. Heres whats ironic,

This is mine:
Don't write a list of things I won't get done today because I could spend that time going to the career center and finding out how to get credit for an internship.

posto del uno

This is my first blog if you cant tell by my immaculate Spanish title. I am currently back at school from spring break. I though it would be all relaxed since i did nothing all break, but I am surprisingly stressed out. Most likely from all the job interviews and other various things on my mind. I would say that I am definitely rested though. I think i slept more this week than I did all semester. Cool, cool cool. well see how this week goes....
